Qamber Ali Al Mulla (born 5 November 1960) is the Chairman of the Africa and Gulf Bank, headquartered in Sudan. He is a UAE National and acquired his MBA at Strayer University in the United States of America.
A grass root banker, Al Mulla spent his entire career at the National Bank of Abu Dhabi, working in the following areas:-
Al Mulla was the face of NBAD on the international arena and was able to set up a presence in 9 new global financial centres whilst employing and maintaining control over strategic direction, financial performance, corporate governance and the oversight of 16 International CEO’s who reported directly to him.
Al Mulla was also given Directorial responsibilities, which included:
Chairmanship of the Supervisory Board of NBAD Americas N.V. (2011-2016)
Director of the Board NBAD Private Bank (Suisse) SA (2006-2016)
Director of the Board NBAD Malaysia Berhad (2012-2016)
